For this project we used the brush tool and the goal was to make someone look like a zombie type of creature, This project helped further our skills with the brush tool.
For this project we had to find common objects that look like letters and spell our name with those objects. This project showed us how to see things in different ways.
For this project we learned about the gradient tool in photoshop. We took a selfie, and used filters to slightly distort the image. After applying the filters we used the gradient tool to apply a gradient with a cool color that we liked. We projected the images that we made in photoshop, and then traced them. After we had the outline traced we labled the areas like a paint by number with five colors. Then we got to mix our colors and paint our projects.
Today in class we made pop art selfies, we learned how to use the gradient tool to add cool effects, we also had to use the quck select tool, and magic wand tool.
During this assignment we learned how to use layers in photoshop, we learned how to use the brush tool to create shapes, and how to add texture with the mixer tool.
During the paper lantern project we cut patterns into paper that we made in adobe illustrator and folded the paper into a lantern, we used the lantern to explore the play of light and shadow.
In photography class we learned about light painting. We learned how shutter speed controls light, and blur. We used this effect to draw with lights, here is an outline of me with light painting.
This is a realistic image. The photo has no filter or changes made. This is an abstract photo, the original photo has been altered but you can still see what the image is. This is an example of a non objective photo, there has been such a large amount of changes made that you can no longer tell what the original image is unless you already know.
This is an example of shallow depth of field because most of the image is not in focus, the only part that is in focus is close up. This is an example of medium depth of field because the image is about halfway in focus. This image is deep depth of field because the whole image is in focus.
